Total  Cash Prizes - $3000 Time limit: 15 minutes. Prizes donated by the late Dr Miriam Hyde, AO,OBE with the continued support of the Edwards Family Australian citizens only. Entrants to be aged 15 – 23 years as at date of performance. (NB: Copy of citizenship of their parents, or birth certificate required with Entry- not required for previous entrants to this Section) Previous 1st Prize winners are excluded from entry for one year. Two works to be performed :-a) A movement of a Sonata or Concerto, classical period or later (the J S Bach unaccompanied sonatas excluded) b) A SHORT work of different period and style   AT LEAST ONE OF THE WORKS PRESENTED MUST BE ACCOMPANIED The award may be withheld if, in the opinion of the Adjudicator a sufficiently high standard is NOT achieved.
